Josh Adams

Articling Student

Never one to waste time, Josh was accepted into UNB Law after three years at St Thomas University, studying for his BA in Criminology and History. He graduated from UNB in May 2017 with a Juris Doctor, putting him one step closer to achieving his life-long dream of becoming a lawyer. Driven by his passion for the art of courtroom advocacy and performance, Josh was an active member of UNB’s Mooting Society and the regional McKelvey Cup moot team. Recognizing the therapeutic role humour can play in day-to-day legal practice and the importance of quick thinking, he was also a founding member of UNB’s Improv Comedy and the Law Society.

Raised in Kensington, PEI, Josh takes a common sense approach and applies his signature creativity to finding practical—preferrably amicable—solutions to client dilemmas. Primarily interested in criminal, labour & employment, and estates law, he looks forward to broadening his horizons with Lutz Longstaff Parish in his articling year and those that follow.

When Josh is not at the office, he can normally be found at the nearest beach with a good book, finding solace in salt water and the crash of waves on the shore, or taking in a dramatic production at a local theater.
